Change: The End of an Era

This is the last blog that I’m writing as a college student. It’s strange to me to think of how fast the last three years of school have gone by. I’ve learned so much, and gained so many valuable relationships over my time at The Art Institute of San Antonio.

I started my time at AiSan focusing only on portrait photography as a career path. I had no Idea that I’d fall in love with product and commercial photography and choose that as my career path. I walked into my first classes timid and too quiet to remember, and now I’ve gained the confidence to speak up with confidence about who I am and what kind of work I create.

I’m so thankful for this chapter in my life. It’s proven to be an exciting and exhausting journey, but I wouldn’t have chosen any other path.

So this blog is dedicated to my wonderful family, who were always my fist line of cheerleaders when I had doubts, my classmates and friends who sat through long lectures and labs with me (and sometimes shared their food), my professors who have pushed me farther than I knew I could go and helped me see my potential, my community of people who have helped me along the way, and Mama Margies for always having tacos and sweet tea ready for me.

I wouldn’t completely be artist and woman I am today without your support.
